Your session with Jules, what you actually need to know.

Most women who reach out to me have been thinking about doing this for a while. They have questions. Real ones, not the polished ones you see on FAQ pages. They want to know if they'll look good. If they'll feel comfortable. What they're going to wear. And whether this is something they can actually afford. Those are the right questions. Here are honest answers.

Will you actually look your best?

Yes. And I say that with 24 years behind it.

Posing is a skill. Most people don't know how to pose themselves. They stand straight, smile, and hope for the best. That's not what happens in my studio.

I guide you in every shot. I know how to position every body type in a way that is genuinely flattering and really realistic looking. The angle of a shoulder, the placement of a hand, (no one never knows what to do with their hands, lol) and the way the light falls on your body.

I see things the woman in front of me cannot see yet. That's the work.

I've photographed women in their 20s through their 70s. Brides, business owners, women who just lost 80 pounds, women who haven't liked a photo of themselves in years. They all leave seeing something different when they look at themselves. Not because I did something to them.

Because I showed them what was already there.

Will you feel comfortable?

That is always the first thing I'm thinking about from the moment we talk on the phone and when you walk in my studio that day.

Your day starts at 8:30am with hair and makeup done by a professional artist. That part alone shifts something. By the time you sit in front of my camera, you've already been taken care of for a couple of hours. You're not being thrown in front of a lens while you're still nervous. You're easing into it.

I talk to you the entire session. We joke, and remember I’m just like you, so relax. Anyway, I tell you exactly what I want you to do, how to hold your body, where to look. You don't have to figure anything out. That's not your job. Really we only need 1 good picture but you end up losing so many!

Most women tell me they were terrified going in and couldn't believe how relaxed they ended up feeling. A few of them cried when they saw them, because they were looking at images of themselves and finally seeing what I everyone has been seeing the whole time.

What should you wear?

This is one of the most common questions I get, and it stresses women out more than it needs to.

The short answer is wear what makes you feel like yourself. That could be lingerie. It could be an oversized sweater and nothing else. It could be a formal dress or a biker jacket. I've seen all of it work beautifully.

Things that always photograph well:

Lace anything — it picks up light in a way that is beautiful on camera

High heels (you’re not walking in them) — they change your posture and your energy

A dress you feel sexy in — this always surprises how good it looks

A color you actually look good, not just what you think looks "boudoir"

Things to avoid:

Anything that digs in or leaves marks — wear loose clothing on the way in

New lingerie you've never tried on — not the day to find out it doesn't fit right

You can bring multiple outfits. Most women do 5 to 7 looks throughout the session.

How much does it cost?

A $499 reservation fee holds your date and covers everything on the day. Professional hair and makeup, expert posing and guidance, the full session, and your same-day reveal.

That $499 comes off your total order that day.

After session, you will see your pictures and decide which package you want. No waiting weeks, no pressure. I walk you through every option.

Most women choose a lay-flat album, the kind that opens completely flat so every image is fully visible, edge to edge. It's private, it's beautiful, and it's something you'll have for the rest of your life. I carry several album styles at different investment levels, some US made, some handcrafted in Europe. I'll show you everything that day. You are worth this life changing day!

Payment plans are available. Just ask.

A little about Jules

I love giving you something that others can not. I love to see you smile.

And I want to tell your story.

My private studio is at 222 West Atlantic Avenue in Haddon Heights, NJ. I serve women throughout South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area.

I do this work personally. When you book with Jules Secret, you're working with me — not a staff photographer, not an associate. Me. I'm the one who will be in that room with you, directing every shot, watching the light, and making sure you leave with something you'll keep forever.

I have almost 100 five-star reviews. Not one woman has told me she regretted doing this.

Most of them say they wish they hadn't waited so long.

It’s time for you!

If you've been thinking about this, reach out. I'll talk with you personally before you commit to anything.

Questions women ask before they book

Do I have to be a certain size or age?

No. I photograph women of every size and every age. My youngest client has been in her 20s and my oldest was in her late 70s. Size is not a prerequisite. Posing well is my job, not yours.

What if I've never liked photos of myself?

I love the challenge and I never lost, lol.

It's usually the women who say they hate being photographed who are the most surprised by what they see at their pictures. When you're directed by someone who knows what they're doing, the result is completely different from a snapshot.

Is this private?

Completely. My studio is private. No other clients are in the building during your session. Your time is my time. You have complete control if your pictures are used for marketing or not.

What happens at the reveal?

The same day as your session, we sit together and go through your images. I walk you through every collection option with no pressure and no rush. You choose what you want. Most women want more than they expected going in.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. A few women bring a friend, as long as they are 100% there for you. Do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We are busy all year. The sooner you reach out the better. Time goes fast so just book now.
